PDRN with microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure, but we still want to ensure your safety by screening for any medications, allergies, supplements, existing conditions, or past procedures that could potentially interfere with your treatment.

Preparation

Very little preparation is required to receive a PDRN booster with microneedling. We advise patients to stay as hydrated as possible on the day of their treatment and to wash their face before receiving their treatment.

There are other steps to follow that can improve the results of your treatment, but these are not necessarily required. These include avoiding alcohol and other blood-thinning compounds, quitting smoking, and any other forms of nicotine consumption.

Procedure

Your procedure will start with a professional cleansing of your skin and then the application of a numbing agent. Your specialist will then pass the microneedling device over the skin, allowing the needles to create microchannels. After microneedling, your specialist will apply the PDRN solution onto the skin. The microchannels created by the microneedling allow the serum to be absorbed deeply into the skin.

This process typically takes about 60-90 minutes from start to finish, but this may vary for each patient.
